Lower Engine Mount Bush Insert

On the Ford Focus, PFF19-1222 fits early models whilst PFF19-1220 fits later models. If fitting this to a diesel-engined vehicle, an increase in noise and vibration is to be expected. This should be considered as a performance upgrade, not a standard replacement.

Front Upper Right Engine Mount Bush Insert

This part fits as an insert for the Front Upper Right Engine Mount. The rubber on the original mounts degrades and soften with time resulting in excessive engine and gearbox movement. This insert is developed to fit in and around the voided sections of the original rubber mounts to restrict movement at higher torque levels. This provides a cost-effective way of improving engine stability, gear shifting, power delivery, and vehicle handling without the increased NVH associated with more expensive full replacement aftermarket engine mounts.

Combining a new CNC machined aluminium lower torque mount with various durometer options to suit differing states of tune, this is a great way to reduce the amount of engine movement during hard acceleration and gear changing. It's also super easy to replace - just two bolts and it's out with the old, in with the new and no pressing out of any rubber! PFF19-1822 Lower Engine Mount Bracket & Bushes (Yellow 70A) is 50% stiffer than the OE mount and recommended for fast road use for standard or mildly tuned cars.
